There’s a reason we truly know and support our clients and community. Itasca has been our home for over 25 years. As tax and accounting professionals, we serve individuals and small businesses. The majority of our clients have been with Anthes, Pruyn & Associates year after year, and even some who have moved continue to use us for their tax and accounting needs.
Originally founded as Anthes & Associates, Jeffery Pruyn joined the firm soon after college graduation and quickly established himself as an accomplished accounting professional, trusted manager and eventual partner. Jeff took over the leadership role as President of Anthes, Pruyn & Associates, with a commitment for his team to provide highly personalized, responsive service.

Jefferey Pruyn joined Anthes, Pruyn & Associates in June of 1987. He brings a depth of expertise to individual and small business clients in accounting and related tax services. He has participated in accounting, auditing and tax engagements for state and local governments, and other nonprofit clients. This provides experience in fund accounting, evaluation of internal control systems, tax-exempt securities and corporate trust operations.
He maintains current computer application knowledge of integrated accounting systems, database management systems, spreadsheet applications, payroll tax and income tax preparation systems for individual, partnership and corporation returns, plus the annually required information for tax returns and word processing systems.
Jeff received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska — Lincoln in 1987, and his Certified Public Accounting designation from the University of Illinois in 1988. He is licensed to practice public accounting in the State of Illinois.
Jeff has long been involved in local civic organizations, associations and government, and serves as the Village President for the Village of Itasca — where he and his family live.
Danielle Larsen, C.P.A.

Danielle Larsen, who joined Anthes, Pruyn & Associates in 1998, brings years of experience in individual and business income tax preparation, working with small businesses and performing a variety of bookkeeping services. She specializes in QuickBooks accounting processes, payroll preparation, and sales tax and payroll returns. She is also a QuickBooks certified Pro Advisor.
She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Benedictine University in 1999. Danielle then passed the CPA examination and was licensed to practice public accounting in the State of Illinois in 2001.
Like the rest of the Anthes, Pruyn & Associates team, Danielle has a love for and knowledge of Illinois, being born and raised in Wood Dale. She enjoys helping her individual and small business clients handle their tax, bookkeeping, payroll and other financial responsibilities in a way that is efficient and stress reducing for them.
